Licensing

Most educators can find everything they need in the sections below. If you sell or list classes featuring Puzzle Punks on a public marketplace platform (such as Outschool), see the 'Public Marketplace Listings' section at the bottom for additional terms that apply.

Overview

When you purchase a Puzzle Punks escape room, you receive a single-educator license and a unique classroom access PIN. The PIN allows you and your students to access the game through our online platform at game.playpuzzlepunks.com.

License Scope

Each license is issued to one educator (you) and covers only the students that you personally teach. The access PIN may only be used during your active sessions: live, real-time class periods in which you are present and facilitating.

Sharing and Transfers

This license may not be shared with or transferred to anyone. This includes, but is not limited to, other teachers, staff, grade-level teams, schools, districts, parents, and students acting outside of an active session. If multiple educators wish to use the same escape room, each must purchase their own license.

A substitute or co-teacher may facilitate gameplay in your classroom on your behalf and may be given the access PIN for that purpose. However, the license itself may not be transferred.

PIN Confidentiality

The access PIN is confidential and may not be shared with anyone outside of active classroom sessions. The only exceptions are a substitute or co-teacher facilitating on your behalf. This means the PIN may not be shared verbally, digitally, or in writing. This includes (but is not limited to) posting PINs on social media, blogs, shared drives, school websites, group chats, or online marketplaces.

Home Access

Families who require independent home access for their child must purchase their own license. Educators may not distribute their access PIN to families for this purpose.

Sharing and Social Media

We love seeing Puzzle Punks in your classroom! You're welcome to share photos, short clips, and screenshots of gameplay for promotional or review purposes (blogs, social media, TikTok, etc.). However, shared content must not reveal access PINs, and must not be detailed enough for someone to play or recreate the game.

Rights

This license grants the right to access and play the game, not ownership of the content. All Puzzle Punks games and materials remain the property of Puzzle Punks. Access is provided while the Puzzle Punks platform remains live, and availability may be modified or discontinued at our sole discretion.
