By accessing or using playpuzzlepunks.com and all subdomains (hereby referred to as Puzzle Punks or the site), you agree to be bound by this agreement. Your use of Puzzle Punks indicates that you accept the terms spelled out in this document.
Puzzle Punks is a series of educational "escape rooms" designed for specific grade levels. These escape rooms are purchased by and assigned by teachers. In each escape room, small teams of students work through various literacy challenges to unlock all the codes before time runs out. Each escape room contains lots of colorful artwork, weird characters, and hidden lore.
Puzzle Punks is intended for recreation only — not as an assessment, replacement, or supplement for standard instruction. While we do our best to create engaging, standards-based, grade-level-appropriate escape rooms, we do not endorse or verify the accuracy or completeness of our products. We are not liable for any discrepancies or misalignment between our content and educational requirements of a specific classroom.
Each purchase of a Puzzle Punks escape room grants the purchaser one (1) single license to use in all of their classrooms, as many times as they wish. This license lasts indefinitely and never expires. However, the purchaser may not share their escape room with any other educator. Each additional educator who wishes to use a Puzzle Punks escape room in their classroom must purchase a separate license.
Teachers and educators who choose to use Puzzle Punks in their classrooms are solely responsible for the content and its appropriateness for their students. Educators are encouraged to review and test all content before sharing it with their students to ensure its educational value and suitability.
Teachers are also responsible for monitoring their students' use of Puzzle Punks and ensuring that students follow appropriate guidelines and codes of conduct while interacting with our escape rooms. We are not liable for any actions, behavior, or interactions between users within the classroom setting. By using Puzzle Punks in a classroom setting, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ethan Dirks Inc. DBA That Little Robot, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, or losses arising from their use of our escape rooms and any content they create, share, or use within their classrooms.
The Puzzle Punks homepage and information pages all strive to be in compliance with WCAG Guidelines. However, these guidelines are intended for standard web pages — not complex experiences with essential artwork, animations, and interactive challenges. Therefore, the escape rooms themselves are not compatible with these guidelines, as attempting to do so would totally break the mechanics, core enjoyment, and purpose.
You agree to use Puzzle Punks only for the spirit in which it was intended: as an engaging escape room intended for recreation only, not as an assessment, replacement, or supplement for standard instruction. You may not modify the Puzzle Punks source code or assets. You may not share your copy of a Puzzle Punks escape room or access PIN with anyone else other than the students in your classroom.
All materials on the site, as well as the organization and layout of the site, are owned and copyrighted by Ethan Dirks Inc. (DBA That Little Robot) and may only be accessed or printed for your personal non-commercial use only. Without our prior written permission, you may not copy, distribute or transfer any material on the site, in whole or in part.
